If you’re like us, you have big movie and series catch-up plans for the Easter weekend. That may include some recent additions to Disney+, like historical epic Shogun, blast-from-the-past animated series X-Men ’97, and record-breaking concert film Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version), which all joined the streamer this February and March.

There are other highlights to check out too, like recent multi-Oscar winner Poor Things which came to Disney+ towards the end of March as a surprise addition. The same goes for massively acclaimed indie fantasy romance All of Us Strangers. Of course, you might also be looking beyond the Easter weekend to plan your viewing, and that’s where this guide to April on Disney+ comes in. Below you’ll find our top picks for the coming month.

Wish (Animated Film)

Following in the footsteps of Frozen and Encanto is Wish, the latest animated musical fantasy from Walt Disney Animation Studios. In the idyllic island kingdom of Rosas, idealist Asha (Ariana DeBose) discovers a disturbing truth about Rosas’s magic-wielding ruler King Magnifico (Chris Pine), at the same time she summons Star, a celestial being with the ability to grant wishes. Read our review here.

Watch Wish exclusively on Disney+ from 3 April.

Still talking entertainment for younger (and young at heart) viewers, Bluey is back with a new episode titled Ghostbasket on 7 April, as well as the first-ever extended-length Bluey special The Sign, on 14 April. Plus, there’s a Miraculous: Tales Of Ladybug & Cat Noir special coming up on 19 April.

The Greatest Hits (Film)

In romantic fantasy The Greatest Hits, Harriet (Lucy Boynton) discovers certain songs can transport her back in time – literally. While she relives the past through memories of her former boyfriend (David Corenswet), her time travelling collides with a burgeoning new love interest in the present (Justin H. Min). Even if she could change the past, and save her ex, should she?

Watch The Greatest Hits from 12 April.

FEUD: Capote Vs. The Swans (Series)

Co-created by Glee, Nip/Tick and American Horror Story’s Ryan Murphy, FX’s FEUD: Capote Vs. The Swans tells the story of writer Truman Capote (Tom Hollander), whose betrayal of society’s most elite women, nicknamed “the swans,” led to his banishment from high society and a spiral of self-destruction. Playing “the swans” are Naomi Watts, Diane Lane, Chloë Sevigny, Calista Flockhart, Demi Moore and Molly Ringwald.

Watch all 8 episodes of FEUD: Capote Vs. The Swans from 17 April. You can also find Season 1 of the anthology series, which stars Jessica Lange as Joan Crawford and Susan Sarandon as Bette Davis, on Disney+.
