If four years of Comic Con Cape Town – revisit 2025 and 2024 here – have taught us anything, it’s that locals love to dress up as their favourite pop culture characters. Whether it’s hired costumes, clever creations out of cardboard and plumbing parts (true story), expensive or not-so-expensive purchases, or the full foam and 3D print shebang, Capetonians go all out.
It’s impossible to capture every cosplay at the four-day show, but below you’ll find some of the standout efforts we came across during our time in the halls of the CTICC2 this year.
