If Ready or Not, The Raid and Rosemary’s Baby merged into one film, chances are the result would be upcoming action horror comedy They Will Kill You – an over-the-top, consciously violent blend of genres that is full of surprises, and stars!

Deadpool 2’s Zazie Beetz plays Asia Reaves, a woman who accepts a housekeeper position at the Virgil, a New York City high-rise apartment block, only to discover that there are dark forces present there… and she’s been chosen as a sacrifice by the demon-worshipping residents. Playing those residents are the likes of Tom Felton (Harry Potter), Heather Graham (Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me) and Patricia Arquette (Severance). It’s a good thing, then, that Asia is a tough ex-con – possibly something more even – who resolves to fight her way out of the nightmare.

They Will Kill You is in South African cinemas from 27 March.

To get you even more hyped for They Will Kill You, we have this exclusive featurette courtesy of Warner Bros. South Africa. In it, Beetz, Felton and Graham explain how the film is different from its genre brethren, while writer-director Kirill Sokolov reveals the creepy inspiration behind the project.
